Kam Ying Court

Located in Kam Ying Court, Ma On Shan, this flat was designed for a young owner. While retaining the original layout, the living–dining area was reimagined to merge modern functionality with a sense of comfort and style, meeting the owner’s desire for both practicality and refined living.

Stepping inside, a white foyer cabinet sits beside the entrance, paired with an extended corridor housing a built-in shoe cabinet, meeting storage needs with understated ease. Directly opposite, the dining area commands the first visual impression. Here, warm wood veneer contrasts with the white finishes of the corridor, creating a balanced yet distinctive statement. A pendant light above the dining table draws the eye, white Bauhaus-style dining chairs and table introduce a touch of contemporary character to the minimal setting. The dining cabinet extends seamlessly into the workspace, where a low cabinet — also Bauhaus in style — subtly divides work and living zones, maintaining a unified flow throughout.

In the living room, a feature wall in beige textured paint echoes the tone of the wood veneer. Kept minimal with only the television mounted, it eliminates distraction and invites focus. Overhead, a cove lighting detail with softly curved edges adds a hint of playfulness to the ceiling.

The renovation is completed with a smart home system — offering lighting scenes that adapt to mood, automatic evening illumination, and remote control of air conditioning via a mobile app. These thoughtful details enhance convenience while elevating the home’s daily comfort and character.

位於馬鞍山錦英苑的居屋單位，為首次置業的年輕戶主設計。保留原有格局的基礎上，重新塑造客飯廳，融合現代功能與舒適美學，滿足戶主對實用與格調的生活需求。

踏入屋內旁邊白色玄關櫃與延長了走廊所增設了鞋櫃滿足儲物需求。走廊正對的飯廳是入口的第一個視覺，故採用木飾面與走廊處的白色成對比。餐台上方安裝吊燈營造聚焦效果，搭配具Bauhaus風格的白色餐台椅，在簡約的空間上增添了現代風格。飯廳櫃延伸至工作間，以同樣具Bauhaus風格的矮櫃分隔工作與客廳，分區同時也保持空間一體感。

客廳背景牆選用米色藝術漆，與木飾面色調呼應，牆面僅安裝電視，捨棄多餘裝飾，讓觀賞時更專注。天花以弧形延伸了燈槽造型，為空間增添了一絲玩味。

整個改造同時結合了智能家居，燈光場景可隨心情切換，夜晚回家自動亮燈，外出時可透通過APP遙距操作冷氣. 這些貼心功能不僅提升生活便利性，也讓生活格調提昇。
