ROYAL PENINSULA

Designed apartment for a young couple with daughter. Owner are very fond of Japanese culture, so the design has more or less a Japanese feel to it. The materials were chosen to be simple and plain, with white paint, cement paint and light wood floors, combined with appropriate blank spaces to create a Japandi-style.

To keep the space clutter-free, concealed details are key. Like the full-height cabinet behind the dining table and the wooden slat TV cabinet in the living room, these detail made the island furniture and small decorations more outstanding.

With natural light as an important element, large windows allow sunlight to fully shine into the room, making the entire space feel brighter and more open. Paired with wooden furniture, the entire Japanese style is presented.

位於紅磡半島豪庭的單位，由一對熱愛日本文化的夫婦擁有。整體設計滲透著淡淡的日系韻味——簡約、克制而不失細節。在用料方面，全屋統一選用素色調：白色牆身、水泥牆及淺木色地板，並在適當位置留白，營造出恬靜的日系簡約氛圍。

為保持空間整潔，傢俬設計以隱藏門形式收納，將實用功能悄然融入視覺效果之中。飯枱後方設有全高櫃，客廳則以木條子隱藏門修飾電視櫃，減少雜亂感之餘，更突顯中島傢具及精選小擺設的存在感。

自然光是設計的靈魂。闊落的窗戶讓陽光充份滲入室內，令空間更顯明亮開揚。當日光灑在木系傢俬與柔和色調之間，日系氛圍便油然而生，在簡約中流露著溫度與生活氣息。
